Twilight director tweets New Moon

London, (ANI): Fans of Twilight franchise can catch up on updates about the new film on Twitter, courtesy director Chris Weitz.

The filmmaker, who is presently helming the forthcoming sequel New Moon, seemingly runs the account on the popular microblogging website, reports the Telegraph. His first entry read: “This is my first ever tweet so please be gentle with me."

Weitz also provided devotees with a still from an early scene between protagonist Robert Pattinson and co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
