Daniel Radcliffe turns 20 today

Daniel Radcliffe wouldn't have asked for a better birthday gift than the success of his film. The talented actor, who turns 20 today, has received a perfect birthday gift not from his co-star Emma Watson but in the form of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Born on 23rd July, 1989, Daniel Radcliffe becomes famous with his role in the Harry Potter series, an adaptation of J.K. Rowling's books. His first film The Tailor of Panama starring Pierce Brosnan was released in 2001. However, he became famous for his roles in the Harry Potter series.

He acted in the first Harry Potter film titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and went on to act in the subsequent sequels. The latest sequel being Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which was released last week. It has made a wonderful opening at the box office and is continuing to pull in crowds.

With more harry Potter films in the offing, Daniel Radcliffe is here to stay. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I is scheduled for 2010 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II for 2011. This is just the beginning. Watch out for more from this talented actor!
