Washington (ANI): Former 'Baywatch' star David Hasselhoff has said that reports of him being hospitalised over the weekend for alcohol poisoning were 'exaggerated'. The 'America's Got Talent' judge was admitted to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on May 2, and reports claimed his condition to be serious.

According to Radaronline.com, Hasselhoff had collapsed at his Encino, California home and was found by his 16-year-old daughter Hayley, who alerted his ex-wife Pamela Bach and took him to hospital. However, the actor's representatives have now claimed that the incident was not serious. Also, they said that the star was quickly discharged and spent the next night celebrating his father's birthday.

"(Hasslehoff) is fine and well and happy and is celebrating his father, Joe Hasselhoff's 80th birthday tonight at dinner... along with his girlfriend, Kimberly," Contactmusic quoted Hasselhoff's rep Judy Katz as telling TMZ.com.

The 56-uear-old actor's lawyer, Mel Goldsman, has also hit out at the reports and has even accused Bach of leaking the story to the press and vowing to pursue the matter in court. He said: "(Bach) in violation of the court's order precluding contacting the media regarding her ex husband."
