Carradine's family asks FBI to investigate his death

New York (ANI): Family of 'Kung Fu' actor David Carradine, who was found dead in his Bangkok Hotel room with a rope around his genitals, has asked US authorities to investigate his mysterious death. Relatives refuse to believe that Carradine - found naked in a Bangkok hotel closet with a rope tied to his neck, wrist and genitals - committed suicide, reports The New York Daily News.

“They want an investigation," said Mark Geragos, lawyer for Keith Carradine, brother of the "Kill Bill" star. "I would think that the people in Bangkok would want to support an investigation and allow the FBI to go over there and assist in the investigation so we can get the answers to the questions," he added.

Yesterday, Thai police said that they have not been contacted by the FBI. An autopsy was completed Friday, but results aren't expected for weeks. Rumours are abuzz that the 72-year-old actor died during an act of auto-erotic asphyxiation in which the rope was used to heighten sexual pleasure.
