Fawcett's best pal defends O'Neal's cash greedy

London (ANI): Farrah Fawcett"s best friend of 30 years, Alana Stewart, has slammed reports alleging that the late star"s long-time love Ryan O"Neal was with her because of her bank balance. Stewart, who remained with the actress during her cancer battle, insisted Ryan is a “good guy", adding he had more money than Fawcett.

“It"s almost like a joke frankly and anybody who knows them well knows that"s so not true," The Daily Express quoted Stewart as saying. “They were together over 30 years and frankly Ryan always had a lot more money than Farrah. He invested his money from day one very well."

“He was very loving with her those last few months and it was very clear that he was heartbroken. He was losing the love of his life. That"s the only reason he was there. I am a supporter of Ryan"s because I know how much he loved her and still does. Ryan is a complex guy but he"s a good guy and he"s got a good heart and he was very good to Farrah those last number of months. As far as I"m concerned that"s really the end of the story," she added.
