Kevin gives pointers to Crawford for Footloose role

Kevin
Bacon
has
apparently
handed
out
a
few
pointers
to
Chace
Crawford,
who
is
looking
to
recreate
the
former"s
dancing
magic
in
a
remake
of
the
classic
film.
Crawford
has
been
roped
in
to
play
the
iconic
role
of
Ren
McCormack,
previously
portrayed
by
Bacon
in
1984.
Bacon's
wife
Kyra
Sedgwick
confessed
Crawford
had
not
only
gained
their
nod
of
approval,
and
that
of
their
teen
daughter
Sosie,
but
also
picked
few
words
of
advice
from
Bacon.
"We're
thrilled
(with
Crawford's
casting).
Sosie
is
a
big
fan.
We
met
him
at
the
White
House
Correspondent's
Dinner.
Kevin
and
he
had
a
chat.
He's
very
sweet," the
Daily
Star
quoted
Sedgwick
as
telling
People
magazine.
The
actress
further
warned
the
immense
pressure
associated
with
the
role,
adding,
"He
has
big
shoes
to
fill!"
