Frances Bean turns down role in Alice In Wonderland

Washington (ANI): Late singer Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's teenage daughter, Frances Bean, refused to star in Tim Burton's new film adaptation of Alice In Wonderland, sources say. The celebrity daughter apparently turned down the offer for the title role to focus on her education.

"Tim thought she would be perfect, but she wants to go to university. She's incredibly focused and sensible," Contactmusic quoted a source as having told British newspaper the Mail.

Now, newcomer Mia Wasikowska stars as Alice alongside Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter in the film scheduled to release in March next year.
