Katherine Heigl arranges baby shower for Ellen

London, (ANI): Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl is said to have thrown a star-studded baby shower for her co-star and mum-to-be Ellen Pompeo.

Heigl, 30, invited 25 friends, including their fellow Grey's Anatomy co-stars Kate Walsh and Sandra Oh, to the outdoor bash held under giant umbrellas in the backyard of her Los Angeles home on August 29. Pompeo, 39, who is expecting a daughter in October with husband Chris Ivery, was also joined by Rebecca Gayheart, the wife of her Grey's co-star Eric Dane.

"Ellen looked gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do. She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends," the Daily Star quoted a guest as telling People.com.
