Dennis Hopper diagnosed with prostrate cancer

London (ANI): 'Apocalypse Now" actor Dennis Hopper has got prostrate cancer, his manager has revealed. The 72-year-old star is presently under "special programme" treatment at the University of Southern California.

"We're hoping for the best," the Daily Express quoted Hopper"s manager Sam Maydew as saying. Hopper also could not attend an exhibition at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne. The display titled 'Dennis Hopper And The New Hollywood" presented his collection of artwork and photography.

He had ended filming the second season of TV's Crash recently and has a lot more projects in line.
