London, (ANI): Brit socialite Jemima Khan has revealed that she was so traumatized when the plane she was in was hijacked that her hair turned white.
Khan and her two sons escaped death during the incident that took place in Nairobi in 2000, but it has left a permanent mark on her - the loss of hair on either side of her head.
“The hair grew back white in those patches, and I've had to dye it ever since," the Daily Express quoted her as saying. She describes her hair as being her 'security blanket', and says that she has only cut it 'shortish' twice.
“Both times hideously," she told Vogue magazine. “I would love to have a gamine crop but I know it would look terrible on me," she added.
