Washington (ANI): Jodie Foster is in talks to direct Jim Carrey in new film The Beaver, according to reports. The film revolves around a man who becomes reliant on his beaver hand puppet for company.

Steve Carrell, who was previously linked to the leading role, is to be replaced by Carrey, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film has been written by Kyle Killen, reports Contactmusic.
