Jordan accuses Andre of wife battering her

London (ANI): Katie Price has lashed out at estranged husband Peter Andre after he denounced her lifestyle publicly. Reacting to Andre"s comments wherein he had called her “disgusting" and “a disgrace", Jordan said: “Why should I be the pawn in his desperate publicity drive for his music? As for what Pete has said about me recently – well, this is like wife beating."

Katie apparently claimed that Andre was giving her a “public battering" only to promote his new album. “Right now Katie feels like Pete is using their divorce to shift another 10 or 20 albums," the Daily Star quoted Kate"s unnamed friend as saying.

“Katie is fuming everything Pete has said about her recently…. It has been getting nastier and nastier between them for weeks and although Katie is guilty too, she is now hoping that Pete will respect her and say enough is enough," the pal added.

Katie has defended her actions and said: “I am only human." Jordan"s angry outburst came after Peter had said he"d made the right decision by dumping her.
