Katie Holmes to star in Sex and the City sequel?

Washington (ANI): Actress Katie Holmes is tipped to play a feisty businesswoman in an upcoming Sex and the City sequel. The 30-year-old star is rumoured to be in negotiations to join the cast, as a rival to Kim Cattrall's man-eating character Samantha.

"The character they want her to play is a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha," Contactmusic quoted as a source as having told British tabloid The Sun. The shooting is expected to get underway later this year, while the film is slated for a May 2010 release.
