London
(ANI):
Dominic
Cooper
and
Amanda
Seyfried,
who
play
on-screen
sweethearts
in
the
musical
'Mamma
Mia!'
have
broken
up
with
their
respective
partners,
because
their
reel-life
romance
turned
real.
The
couple,
who
play
Sky
and
Sophie
in
the
hit
film,
embarked
on
an
affair
while
filming
in
Greece.
Rumours
of
a
real-life
romance
between
Cooper,
30,
and
Seyfried,
23,
started
making
rounds
after
the
pair
was
spotted
together
at
a
restaurant
in
Bath.
And
now,
Joanna
Carolan,
30,
Cooper's
girlfriend
of
13
years,
has
spoken
about
the
break
up
in
an
interview
with
Grazia
magazine.
"I've
cried
a
lot
of
tears
and
have
woken
up
to
the
reality
that
the
future
I
wanted
is
never
going
to
happen," The
Telegraph
quoted
her
as
saying.
She
added:
"Life
changes,
people
change
and
success
does
things
to
people.
You
have
to
decide
whether
you
can
put
up
with
that
-
and
I
couldn't."
Carolan
revealed
that
when
Cooper
returned
from
filming,
they
got
back
together
and
she
assumed
his
liaison
with
Seyfried
"would
be
a
five-minute
fling".
Also,
she
said
that
she
"took
it
for
granted
he'd
end
it
with
Amanda.
He'd
say
he
had
and
then
I'd
hear
through
friends
he
hadn't.
I
had
to
kick
him
out.
I'm
no
longer
in
love
and
can''t
think
about
taking
him
back.
I
can''t
be
with
a
man
who''d
let
me
go
through
this."
Abba
inspired
Mamma
Mia!,
also
starring
Meryl
Streep,
Colin
Firth
and
Pierce
Brosnan,
was
one
of
the
biggest
hits
of
2008,
and
became
the
best-selling
DVD
ever.
In
fact,
Seyfried's
two-year
relationship
with
musician
and
actor
Jesse
Marchant
saw
a
tragic
end
owing
to
the
Cooper
and
her
relationship.
"He's
a
low-key
guy
and
I
was
entering
into
this
world
of
celebrity
which
he
hates
and
which
scares
him.
I
didn't
want
him
to
be
unhappy
or
have
to
deal
with
it,
and
so
it
was
me
who
ended
it," said
Seyfried.
