Mischa Barton making improvements

New Delhi, (ANI): Former O.C. star Mischa Barton is making improvements and is likely to return to work in a week, says her publicist.

According to China Daily, spokesman Craig Schneider said that the 23-year-old actress is 'still seeking treatment but making improvements.' However, he refused to elaborate on Barton's condition. He said that Barton planned to report to work on the new CW series The Beautiful Life later this month.

A CW spokesman for the show, which stars Barton as a pill-popping supermodel, said production was scheduled to begin July 31.
