Nicole Richie to name her unborn child after MJ

Washington (ANI): Nicole Richie has apparently planned to name her unborn child after the King of Pop and her godfather Michael Jackson. The 'Simple Life" star reportedly intends to mark the icon"s death by giving her second child his name, which would be Michael for a boy and Michelle for a girl.

Nicole, who is an adopted daughter of singer Lionel Ritchie, was very close to the pop legend, according to a source. "Nicole is devastated by Michael's death. She loved him and it happened so suddenly. She wasn't planning on naming the baby after him, but she thinks it's fitting now that he's gone," Contactmusic quoted a source as saying.

Ritchie already has a one-year-old daughter, Harlow, with partner Joel Madden and is expecting another child this autumn.
