Orson Welle's daughter slams his depiction as a womaniser

Washington (ANI): Orson Welles" daughter has slammed the negative portrayal of her father as a womaniser in the period-drama Me And Orson Welles.

Chris Welles Feder criticised the depiction of her father as a dictatorial filmmaker who cheated on her pregnant mother. "That''s not my father - it''s a distortion," Contactmusic quoted her as telling the New York Daily News.

“They took all the negative things and fashioned a character that''s a caricature. It''s laughable," she added.

Christian McKay''s defended his portrayal of the late American film legend, saying: "I respect her opinion enormously. At the same time... if we made him more likable, we''d have taken all the drama away."
