Paris Hilton's beau desperate for MTV contract

New York, (ANI): Paris Hilton's on-off boyfriend Doug Reinhardt is reportedly desperate to land a contract with MTV's 'The Hills'. The baseball player, who makes cameo appearances for free, was said to have made frantic pleas to the producers to cast him. But the 23-year-old has been turned down, with cast members overheard "laughing about how Doug can't get a part on the show."

"He's been begging MTV producers for a contract," the New York Post quoted a source as saying. The source added: "Doug keeps calling MTV, but they don't want him." Reinhardt's reps have denied the star's attempts to bag a contract. A show rep was unavailable for comment.
