Patrick Swayze to quit acting with The Beast

Washington (ANI): Patrick Swayze's TV show, which could mark his last acting job, has now been axed.

'The Beast', has not been a big hit ever since it appeared on US TV screens earlier this year, reports Contactmusic. However, executives at the A&E network have confirmed that there will be no more episodes of the drama.

Swayze, 56, has worked in the show while battling pancreatic cancer, and even won acclaim for his portrayal of a tough FBI agent.
