Robert Pattinson is the sexiest

London (ANI): Robert Pattinson has been named the sexiest man in the world in a new poll. The British star, who plays smouldering vampire Edward in hit movie Twilight, pipped Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp to land the honour, reports The Sun.

However, the 23-year-old played down the award, saying: "The hottest actor stuff doesn't really mean anything. You have a month maybe with all this heat and hype."

David Beckham and Colin Firth also made the top ten in the poll of 2,000 girls for Glamour magazine.
