director
Roman
Polanski

his
late
wife
actress
Sharon
Tate
embracing
in
the
nude
is
set
to
go
under
the
hammer.
The
picture
had
been
taken
in
1969
by
photographer
David
Bailey
just
months
before
Tate
was
murdered
by
members
of
the
Charles
Manson
cult
in
Los
Angeles,
reports
the
Daily
Star.
The
portrait,
which
shows
Polanski,
76,
and
Tate
intertwined,
is
expected
to
sell
for
as
much
as
7,500
pounds,
with
a
similar
shot
sold
for
just
over
10,625
pounds
in
a
2006
London
auction.
The
item
will
go
up
for
sale
on
December
7
in
New
York.
