Daniel Radcliffe bags 2 Broadway Awards

Washington, (ANI): Daniel Radcliffe bagged two gongs at Broadway.com Audience Awards for his performance in the New York production of Equus. He won Favourite Leading Actor in a Broadway Play and was also awarded for Favourite Breakthrough Performance, Contactmusic reports.

The Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe had stripped off for theatre-goers in the Big Apple last year for the play written by Peter Shaffer. The musical was first performed at London's West End before being transferred to Broadway.

The event took place at The Waldorf Astoria hotel in Manhattan.
