Ryan Reynolds gets his own X-Men movie

Washington (ANI): Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, is getting his own spin-off movie. The project is currently being developed by 20th Century Fox and Marvel Comics, and, for Reynolds, who had talked before about wanting to do a solo spin-off, it's a dream come true.

“I've made no secret about my desire to do a Deadpool movie, but if you're going to do it, it would have to be 100 percent faithful to its origins," Us magazine quoted him as telling MTV News.

“To stay as true to the source material as possible is the only way to do it, and I say that because there's nothing more interesting than the source material for Deadpool. There''s no reason to deviate from that," he added.
