Robert Redford marries long-time girlfriend

London (ANI): Hollywood actor Robert Redford has married his long time girlfriend Sibylle Szaggars. The wedding ceremony visited by around 30 guests took place in Hamburg, Germany.

"The ceremony was very important to them," the Telegraph quoted protestant pastor, Frank Engelbrecht, who conducted the marriage as saying. The pastor also revealed that the ceremony was carried out in the local language, as the actor understood German.

According to the Hamburger Abendblatt daily the couple now plan to celebrate in an "official" wedding party in Mexico in September. The pair had been seeing each other since 1996.
