Samantha Burke gives birth to Jude Law's daughter

London (ANI): Actor Jude Law has become a father for the fourth time, as his ex-lover Samantha Burke has given birth to a baby girl. Burke says both she and the girl are 'doing wonderful'. The 'beautiful and healthy' baby weighed 5lbs 12oz. It is not believed Law was present.

The 24-year-old aspiring actress became pregnant after a brief fling with 'Sherlock Holmes" star during the shooting of the film in New York. Jude has three other children with ex-wife SADIE FROST - Rafferty, 12, Iris, eight, and six-year-old Rudy. The 36-year-old is currently appearing in a Broadway production of Hamlet.

"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," the Sun quoted the star"s spokesman as saying. "Mr Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child''s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made," he added.
