Scarlett tipped for 'Bride of Frankenstein' remake

New Delhi (ANI): If sources are to be believed, Scarlett Johansson is being considered for the lead role in 'The Bride of Frankenstein' remake. The project, based on the 1935 horror classic, will be directed by Neil Burger, reports the China Daily.

And the 24-year-old actress is tipped to portray a sexier version of the terrifying female monster in the updated version. "The Bride of Frankenstein will be young this time. They're looking for a person with great power and sex appeal. Someone along the lines of Scarlett Johansson or Anne Hathaway," a source said.

English actress Elsa Lanchester played the role in the older version.
