Scarlett recreates Marilyn's magic in D&G ad

Washington (ANI): Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson recreated the magic of screen siren Marilyn Monroe in a sexy new ad for Dolce & Gabbana. The 24-year-old actress posed as the late blonde bombshell in a glamorous photo shoot for the Italian fashion giant.

She was pictured sprawled across silk bedsheets wearing just a white corset and underwear, with a ruby red pout. "Scarlett is sure of herself. She's a beautiful girl, but she's really easygoing. She is very Dolce + Gabbana," Contactmusic quoted Designer Stefano Gabbana as saying.

The Vicky Cristina Barcelona star had said that she often wondered how long her career in the 'ageist' movie industry would last - so was preparing to become a director before movie bosses start passing her up for roles. "It's hard to be a 24-year-old actor and not be typecast. A lot of roles are either for a sexy person or a Juno-type character," she said.

"That ageism makes the actress fearful for her future, making her consider another path within the industry. There is some weird ageist quality in Hollywood, perhaps that's why I lean more toward directing and development. That's probably the direction I'll take I can't keep up this face forever, you know," she added.
