LaBeouf once went on dinner date with Rihanna

Washington (ANI): Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf has revealed that he once went on a dinner date with Rihanna, but things never went any further. La Beouf revealed that he was "infatuated" with the 'Umbrella' hitmaker, and could not believe his luck when he found out Rihanna was trying to get in touch with him.

"(I was) filming a sword fight when I got the message. I said to myself, ''Can this be my life?" Contactmusic quoted La Beouf as saying.

La Beouf then went on a dinner date with Rihanna, but they never became an item and decided to remain pals. "It never got beyond one date. The spark wasn't there. We weren't passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends," La Beouf added.
