Sutherland just can't get enough of booze

New York (ANI): Head butting incident with designer Jack McCollough has not stopped Kiefer Sutherland from keeping his distance from alcohol, for the actor was spotted courting the bottle again in a bar. The Canadian star, best known for his lead role of Jack Bauer on the thriller drama series 24, was recently seen at Lower East Side bar Libation.

The 42-year-old was reportedly accompanied by his 21-year-old daughter, Sarah Jude. "He was drinking Dewar's on the rocks and chatting with the bartenders," the New York Post quoted a witness as saying.

Sutherland had been charged on May 7 for assaulting McCollough after he allegedly bumped into Brooke Shields in a Manhattan nightspot and refused to apologise. McCollough claimed he had to undergo surgery after being left with a broken nose as a result of the brow-bopping.

The two have now settled their differences and charges against Sutherland may be dropped when he appears in court on June 22.
