Swayze refuses to let cancer dampen his spirits

London (ANI): Actor Patrick Swayze is reportedly bent on not letting his battle with pancreatic cancer dampen his spirits. The Dirty Dancing star was seen sporting a wry smile and a brave face as he left La shops with brother Donny.

The 56-year-old, who recently finished a cutting-edge bout of chemotherapy treatment, was spotted wearing a cowboy hat and displayed a light suntan, reports The Daily Express. Swayze reportedly stepped in to a shop selling smoking equipment and, was said to have left with a bag containing two glass smoking pipes.

Earlier this year, a close friend of the star said: “Patrick regards himself as a cowboy, and is determined to die with his boots on and no regrets."
