family
will
be
holding
a
private
memorial
in
California
on
October
4.
The
Dirty
Dancing
actor
lost
his
battle
to
pancreatic
cancer
on
Sept
14.
His
family
and
friends
will
pay
tribute
to
him
at
the
service,
which
will
be
held
at
Sony
Studios
in
Culver
City,
California.

lieu
of
flowers,
please
make
donations
to
either
of
the
following
two
organisations
-
The
Patrick
Swayze
Pancreas
Cancer
Research
Fund
or
Stand
Up
to
Cancer," Contactmusic
quoted
Swayze"s
representative
as
saying.
The
private
memorial
follows
a
public
event
in
the
town
of
Lake
Lure,
North
Carolina,
where
much
of
1987
movie
Dirty
Dancing
was
filmed.
Patrick
was
cremated
on
September
17
and
his
ashes
are
currently
being
held
at
his
lawyer's
office,
according
to
his
death
certificate.
