Washington (ANI): Harry Potter star Emma Watson has dismissed rumours of a break-up with her long-term boyfriend, Jay Barrymore. The actress blamed the tabloid press for the rumours and revealed that her relationship with the financer is still strong.

"The only reason it's 'on/off' is because the papers make up so much rubbish!" Contactmusic quoted Emma Watson as telling America's Teen Vogue.

The couple has been dating for a year even though rumours have been abuzz that their relationship is in trouble. Watson also enjoys a close friendship with her fellow Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, describing them as a "unique support system" for the stresses of film work.
