Alex Reid, Katie Price marriage 'on the rocks'

London (ANI): The married life of cage fighter Alex Reid and wife Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan is apparently on the rocks due to fierce bust-ups over the former glamour model's ex-husband Peter Andre, horse trainer Andrew Gould, and a troupe of male strippers. According to sources, Reid recently walked out of the 6-month-old marriage, and then returned with the idea that they have couples' counselling.

Sources say that he had enough of Jordan, calling him fat, blaming him for her flop pop career and not getting pregnant. "Alex has had enough. He's sick of her behaviour. He's told her things have to change or he will walk away. She didn't think he had it in him until now," a close friend said.

The 35-year-old martial artist was annoyed when he saw Jordan make a phone call to Peter on his ITV2 reality show. According to Peter, Jordan had suggested that she wanted to stay at his place with the kids for one night.

"When he saw that scene on TV Alex thought it gave the impression that she was desperate to see Peter. It was like a slap in face. He needed some space so he left their house in Surrey and drove to his parents in Aldershot. At times he feels he needs time apart from Katie or he'll go mad," News Of The World quoted Reid's friend as saying.

"When he finally spoke to her, he demanded they re-evaluate their relationship and go to counselling. It was very dramatic. Alex has never confronted Katie like that. It shows how serious things are," the friend added.

Reid also found out that Jordan had spent time in a hotel bedroom with the strip group Dreamboys, during her hen party in June 2010. "Katie was with them for a long time. She was sober but having a real giggle. No one's saying anything untoward happened but when Alex found out he was fuming," a guest said.
