Alex Reid imposes sex ban on Jordan

London, (ANI): Professional mixed martial arts fighter Alex Reid has imposed a sex ban on his wife Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan so that he can get fit for his next bout in the ring.

Reid, 35, has told Jordan, 32, 'no nookie' in the bedroom for a whole month, as he fears it might hamper his fight. He said that although there is no strict rule for fighters to shun marital relations before a fight, he had decided to stay sex free to maintain his aggression.

“Some people like to have sex right before," the Daily Star quoted him as telling ITV"s This Morning. “I personally like to wait four weeks just to keep up the aggression," he stated.

Reid is due to face Tom 'Kong' Watson, 28, at the end of September and knows his jaded fighting reputation is riding on it.

“Alex is a fighter first and foremost and he knows that a month without sex won"t kill either of them," a pal said. “He"s very aware that his reputation is riding on this fight as he has had to postpone it before because of injury. He feels like the whole world is watching and if that means putting the baby plans on ice, then so be it. Knowing both of them, I"m sure as soon as he gets out of that ring they"ll be at it like rabbits," the pal added.
