Lara Bingle uses payout from Clarke to buy $880K home

Melbourne (ANI): Australian model Lara Bingle has used the money she received as payout from ex-fiance Michael Clarke to purchase an 880,000-dollar home. Bingle, 23, bought her first home, a tiny 65sq m apartment, in a quiet cul-de-sac in Darling Point, News.com.au reported.

Real estate sources revealed that while the sprawling penthouse that crowns the 1950s red brick building would be worth “over 2 million dollars easy", the model was able to get the refurbished flat at a lesser price.

According to Confidential magazine, Bingle financed the purchase with her 600,000-dollar settlement from Clarke, and the 200,000 dollars she got from the sale of her nude photo scandal story to Woman"s Day and her savings.
