Charlize Theron splits with Stuart Townsend

Melbourne, (ANI): Hollywood stunner Charlize Theron has split from movie star Stuart Townsend, it has emerged.

The Oscar winner, 34, dumped the Irishman, 37, after a holiday in Mexico, reports The Daily Telegraph.

A friend of the actress said: "Stuart is gutted but Charlize said that she realised during the Mexican holiday that the relationship was over. They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it."

The duo met in 2001 on the set of a thriller called Trapped.
