Christian Bale won hearts at The Fighter screening

New York, (ANI): Actor Christian Bale received huge appreciation from moviegoers at the Cinema Society screening of his new flick The Fighter.

Bale won over moviegoers Patricia Clarkson, Michael Moore, Lee Daniels, Calvin Klein, Russell Simmons, Adam Levine and girlfriend Anne V, Grace Coddington, Gloria Steinem and Bruce Weber, reports the New York Post.

The film also stars Mark Wahlberg and Amy Adams. Bale plays the washed-up half brother of Wahlberg's character, boxing champ Micky Ward. The crowd then headed over to the Standard Hotel's 18th floor after the Men's Health-sponsored screening at Chelsea's SVA Theater.
