Christina Hendricks 'dyed her hair red at the age of ten'

London, July 12 (ANI): Christina Hendricks's love of 'Anne of Green Gables' caused her to dye her hair red, says the actress who is naturally blond.I was obsessed with the Canadian novel 'Anne of Green Gables.'" the Mirror quoted her as telling the Los Angeles Times Magazine.

"There was something that spoke to me about her, and I wanted to have her beautiful red hair," she added.

According to the 35-year-old 'Mad Men' star, her mother took her to the drugstore to get "one of those cover-the-gray rinses."

"I was over the moon. I went to school the next day and felt like myself," she said.

"And then I went back [to that color] over and over again," she added. (ANI)
