The 'Dynasty' actor Christopher Cazenove has died in a London hospital. The 64-year-old actor's death comes just days after the death of John Forsythe. He was fighting a "valiant battle" with septicaemia. He was ill at his home earlier this month and was being treated in intensive care. He died peacefully on April 7, his family said.

The British actor's agent Lesley Duff confirmed his sad demise in a press statement. "Christopher died peacefully on April 7 surrounded by his loved ones having contracted septicaemia at the end of February. Despite a valiant fight and the untiring efforts of the wonderful team at St Thomas's, he was overwhelmed," the Telegraph quoted his statement. "All who knew and loved him will be devastated by the loss of this incredible man who touched so many lives," he added

Christopher Cazenove was born on 17th December 1943. He was a British cinema, television and stage actor. He often portrayed British aristocrats, and first made his name in the early 1970s drama series 'The Regiment'. His other notable roles are Charlie Tyrrell in the UK series 'The Duchess of Duke Street' and Ben Carrington in the US soap opera 'Dynasty'. He also appeared several times in the British drama series 'Judge John Deed'.
