George Clooney not engaged to Elisabetta Canalis

London, (ANI): American actor George Clooney"s representative has dismissed rumours that the actor is engaged to Italian model, girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

The couple"s engagement rumours sparked off when Canalis, who has been dating the 49-year-old actor since 2009 summer, was spotted flashing a huge bauble on her ring finger as the couple ate with friends at the weekend.

But Clooney"s spoksperson told E! News that while Elisabetta did have a bauble on her finger, it was just a napkin ring, reports The Mirror. The couple has been at the centre of both marriage and break-up rumours since they started stepping out together.
