Clooney's rep dismisses engagement reports

London, (ANI): George Clooney's representative has dismissed rumours that the actor has proposed to his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. The rumours started making rounds after Canalis was seen shopping while wearing a gold band on her engagement finger earlier this week.

The spokesperson has, however, denied that marriage is on the cards for the pair. "There's nothing to comment on. She likes to wear rings. No more, no less," the Daily Express quoted the star"s rep as telling E! News.

The 'Ocean's Eleven" star's rep had earlier spoke out to deny engagement reports last month after the Italian model was snapped showing off a piece of jewellery, insisting she had been playing around with a napkin ring.
