Film producer Dino De Laurentiis passes away

London, (ANI): Legendary producer Dino De Laurentiis (91) passed away in Los Angeles. His daughter Raffaella De Laurentiis said in a statement that her father was surrounded by family when he died at his home in Beverly Hills. She did not reveal the cause of death.

"Cinema has lost one of its greats," the BBC quoted Walter Veltroni, former mayor of Rome and a founder of the International Rome Film Festival, as saying. "The name of Dino De Laurentiis is tied to the history of cinema," Veltroni added.
