Marianne Faithfull to apologise to Kate Moss

Melbourne (ANI): Marianne Faithfull has announced that she's going to apologise to her former friend Kate Moss for calling her a vampire. Popular as Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger"s ex, Faithfull, 63, branded the skinny supermodel a "vampire" and accused her of stealing her style, even down to her choice of men.

"Now I see pictures of her with a boy who looks like Mick Jagger and her looking like me. It's one of her gigs to do me," News.com.au quoted Faithfull as saying at the time. But, despite believing that it all started by Moss, Faithfull is prepared to finish it. "I'm just about to pick up the phone and call her. I done wrong. It doesn't matter who started it, I have to make amends," she said.

The 63-year-old singer and the British supermodel were once so close that they holidayed together in The Bahamas, but the duo had a falling out that became public when Faithfull got stuck into Moss in print. "She's not really my friend. I thought she was, but she's very clever. She wanted to read me like a Braille book. And she did. It's a vampirical thing," said Faithfull earlier this year.
