Why Halle Berry had her eyes on Olivier Martinez

New York, (ANI): If reports are to believed, Halle Berry had her eyes on Olivier Martinez and wanted him for their upcoming flick Deep Tide. Before they started filming in June, "Halle sent her people to go after Martinez for the movie. She specifically requested him and told her camp to go get him," New York Post quoted a source as saying.

In April, Berry broke up with model Gabriel Aubry. Martinez dated Kylie Minogue for four years until they split in 2007. Berry and Martinez were pictured getting cozy on the set in August and have since been seen together on romantic dates in Paris and LA.

"It's definitely real, and it's hot and heavy," said a source. But Berry's rep denied he was cast because of her request, "Olivier was cast because he was the best actor for the role and both Halle and the director agreed. Any speculation beyond that reason is completely false."

Martinez's rep didn't respond to calls and e- mails. Jeanette Buerling, chief executive of the production company The Magnet Media Group, had no comment. The picture is due out next year.
