Halle Berry denies helping Olivier Martinez

London, (ANI): Halle Berry's rep has dismissed rumours that the Monster Ball actress helped her boyfriend Olivier Martinez in getting a role in her new movie Dark Tide. Berry has insisted that the French star was chosen because he is the best actor for the role.

"Olivier was cast because he was the best actor for the role and both Halle and the director agreed. Any speculation beyond that reason is completely false," the Daily Star quoted Berry's spokesperson as telling the New York Post.

Berry and Martinez romance rumours gained momentum while they filmed in South Africa.
