Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson call off engagement

Washington (ANI): Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have officially called off their engagement, it has emerged. Reports surfaced a couple months ago that the duo were on a break, but now the split is permanent. "Yes, the engagement is off," People quoted Bilson's rep as saying.

But Bilson's rep declined to provide details on the break-up. Distance was reportedly one of the main reasons for the split. With Bilson primarily in L.A., and Christensen in Canada, "It just wasn't working out," says a pal of the actress.

Now Bilson is "focusing on her career, spending time with her family and just moving forward," a friend added. Christensen, 29, and Bilson, 28, met on the set of 'Jumper" in 2007, and got engaged in December of the following year.
