Dustin Hoffman to appear in Fockers again?

London (ANI): Oscar winning actor Dustin Hoffman is reportedly set to rejoin the 'Meet The Parents' franchise. According to Moviehole.net, he is shooting extra scenes for the latest movie after initially turning down the chance to reprise his role, reports the Daily Star.

The veteran actor played Ben Stiller's onscreen dad in the second film, 'Meet The Fockers' in 2004. Stiller reprises his role in the new movie alongside Robert De Niro, Barbara Streisand and Owen Wilson.

The movie was due for release in July 2010 but the launch date was pushed back until December 2010 and the delay was reportedly proposed to give producers more time to shoot extra scenes with Hoffman. he film is slated for a release on 22 December 2010.
