The director of Glee is in talks with Carol Burnett to rope her in to play the role of Nazi-hunting mom to Jane Lynch. Earlier it was reported that Lynch would not be happy to share the screen space with her in the movie. But, now Lynch seemed to be overjoyed at the news, to the amazement of many.

At Madame Tussaud, where her wax figure was unveiled, she jumped with joy and said, “I am thrilled". Elated at having the opportunity to work with the comedy legend Carol Burnett, Jane expressed effusively her deep desire to do a song with her. She added that she has been a diehard fan of Carol since the days of 'The Carol Burnett Show".

Lynch, the latest figure of wax at Madame Tussaud, grew emotive while saying, “She has been my first influence and inspiration". She recollected that she did not give a miss to Carol"s show aired on every Saturday night when she was a kid. She and her brother tried to act out some scenes of the show.

Being an ardent admirer of the comedy legend, Jane gave a nod to the director"s decision to offer her mother"s role to Carol Burnett.
