Dad doubts Lindsay Lohan quit prescription med

Washington, (ANI): Lindsay Lohan"s father Michael has cast doubts on the report that the actress has quit many of her prescription medications.

“If it"s true, I couldn"t be happier. But I have no doubt that this is just another lie, spewing from Dina"s mouth," RadarOnline.com quoted him as saying.

A report citing a source has earlier claimed that LiLo has stopped taking several of the prescription medications listed in her probation report, including the powerful painkiller Dilaudid. Although Michael admitted that someone can immediately stop taking Dilaudid, he isn"t convinced his daughter has stopped taking her other medications because they require a slow weaning process.

“You can"t just stop taking those medications," he said. “You have to be weaned off with a doctor"s supervision. The amount of meds she"s been on and the amount of time she"s been on them… she would definitely need medical supervision. So no, I don"t think she has stopped," he added.
