New
York
(ANI):
Alexander
McQueen's
former
beau
has
asked
the
fashion
world
of
New
York
to
stop
crying
about
the
late
designer.
George
Forsyth
says
that
the
outpouring
of
condolences
of
N.Y.C.'s
paper-thin
celebs
is
rubbish.
"The
truth
is,
the
fashion
world
is
the
loneliest
place
on
the
face
of
the
planet.
It's
a
shallow
world
full
of
party
people
and
party
'friends'.
Lee
knew
that," the
New
York
Daily
News
quoted
him
as
telling
the
London
Daily
Mail.
The
British
designer"s
ex
feels
McQueen
isn't
being
mourned
appropriately.
He
said:
"It's
been
fashion,
fashion,
fashion
...
but
what
about
him
as
a
person?
That's
the
real
loss
and
the
real
waste."
Alexander
hanged
himself
at
his
home
in
London,
last
Thursday.
